Billing and Insurance
Money matters can be confusing. Our Financial Counselors in our Business Office will help you understand your bill, both during and after your hospital stay.
Billing for Our Services
Antelope Valley Hospital will submit most bills directly to your insurance company for payment. Our registration personnel will ask you for insurance information at each of your visits. Giving complete insurance information at the time of registration, or as soon after as possible, will assure your account is billed correctly and paid timely.
Payment of Your Bill
Regardless of the type of insurance coverage, patients are ultimately responsible for payment of their medical bills. We will bill your insurance on your behalf and make all reasonable efforts to obtain payment from the insurance carrier. If they reject the claim or delay payment, we will look to you for payment in full.
Payment of all known deductibles, co-payments, and non-covered services for pre-scheduled procedures and admissions will be requested prior to services being rendered.
We accept all major credit cards as a convenience to our patients as well as personal checks and cash.
Uninsured and Underinsured Patients
