2005/2006 Annual Report to the Community
We're pleased to bring you the 2005/2006 Annual Report to the Community describing the many ways in which we care for the community, both inside and outside our hospital's walls. As you read through it, you may be surprised at just how many people we touch each year, and how far our reach extends.
As the only full-service acute care hospital in the Antelope Valley region, we take our role very seriously and accept that we must work harder each year to achieve our mission - which is to provide excellent care to everyone who needs it. Regardless of their age, ethnic background, insurance or general ability to pay, our patients and the people of our community can expect to receive quality care when they are sick, as well as vital educational and support services to help them prevent injury or illness and lead healthy, productive lives.
In the 50 years that we have served the community, many things have changed. The population of the Antelope Valley has grown dramatically, and technology has greatly altered the way we diagnose and treat many medical conditions. But here at Antelope Valley Hospital, one thing hasn't changed: our compassionate approach to care. As long as we are in existence, it never will.
