Healthy Homes is a home visitation program aimed at strengthening at-risk families, during pregnancy or at time of birth, by helping them gain the skills to create and sustain safe, healthy, nurturing homes, thereby, preventing child abuse and neglect.

Parents learn to care for their newborn, ensure a safe home and good nutrition, facilitate their child(ren) growth and development so they reach their fullest potential and are ready for school, learn positive parenting, child discipline, and relationship skills, gain access to timely medical and other services, gain life skills, such as coping, stress reduction, and problem solving to see them through crisis and difficult life decisions, and to gain knowledge and skills to access resources to meet their needs and to work toward self-sufficiency.
