At Antelope Valley Hospital, nothing is more important than the well-being of your new child. We ask that you check the ID bracelets you and your infant receive at delivery to verify that they both have the same numbers and information. When you are ready to go home, check the baby's ID band with yours again.

Do not give your baby to anyone who is not wearing a hospital-issued photo ID badge. We also utilize an exchange card system as an added security component. The nurse will explain this system to you the first time your baby is brought to your room.
