Neonatal/Continuing Care Nursery
When babies are born prematurely or with serious health conditions, they are placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery where they will be cared for by highly trained nurses, Neonatologists, and a Pediatric Intensivist.
This service is the only one of its kind in the Antelope Valley and along the eastern ridge of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
Once a baby's health improves and becomes stable, he or she is transferred to the Continuing Care Nursery. Here, the child receives care in a controlled nurse-to-patient ratio, which means that your child will get the best personalized care possible.
After the child's health is completely stable, he or she is allowed to go home.
