Kidney Smart® classes are a community resource designed for those diagnosed with kidney disease, along with their caregivers, family and friends. These health education classes provide an opportunity for participants to learn how kidneys function, the effects of kidney disease and the various treatment options available, as well as the role medications, diet and nutrition play in disease management and prevention. Classes are offered at no‑cost, and are open to the community. Classes are held in conference room 101 on the first floor of the hospital.
