Education can help improve the health and quality of life in our community. We invite you to participate in our informative and relevant programs that can benefit the whole family.
Injury & Trauma Prevention
Antelope Valley Hospital is actively working with school systems and community organizations to help educate the public about trauma prevention. If you would like to have one of our trauma speakers present to your community group, please call our trauma clinical coordinator at 661‑949‑5677.
Our Forensic Services Unit (FSU) has provided numerous informative programs to agencies and community members throughout the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas on topics such as non‑fatal strangulation, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, self‑defense and many others. In order to raise awareness – not only of violence – but of the services available to the community, the FSU is always willing to present to any organization or group upon request. Contact FSU Program Manager Bridgett Amis at 661‑949‑5572 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
