Donors Tee Off at Hospital Fundraiser

Local donors will hit the fairway Monday, May 6, as the Antelope Valley Medical Center Foundation presents the 16th Annual Invitational Golf Tournament at Sand Canyon Country Club, 27734 Sand Canyon Road in Santa Clarita.

The tournament raises funds for and awareness of hospital programs and services. Last year’s golf tournament raised more than $149,000 to support vital healthcare in the Antelope Valley.

"The golf tournament provides much-needed funding for top-quality healthcare services," said Foundation Chair Johnny Zamrzla. "We rely on the generosity of corporate and individual donors to help support critical hospital needs."

The cost is $450 per player or $1,500 for a foursome. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. followed by dinner and prizes at 4:30 p.m.

Registration includes: green fees for 18 holes of golf, electric golf cart, deluxe golf gift package including premium-quality golf balls, breakfast, lunch, on-course beverage cart, coolers throughout the course, tournament awards, raffle prizes and banquet dinner. The deadline to sign up is April 19.
