All visitors must check-in with the security desk at the Women & Infants Pavilion to receive a visitor pass sticker, which must be worn at all times.
Anyone who is sick or has symptoms of a respiratory infection should not visit the Women & Infants Pavilion in order to protect babies from infection. If you are feeling ill, please wait until your symptoms subside before visiting.
Video cameras are not allowed in any area of the Women & Infants Pavilion.

For safety reasons, children under 12 are not permitted in labor and delivery, triage or surgery rooms.
Labor and Delivery Triage
When you first arrive in labor and delivery, while you are being assessed in the triage area, only one visitor is allowed to remain with you.
Labor and Delivery and Antepartum
After admission to your labor and delivery room, you may have up to three designated visitors with you during labor. If other family members are present, a waiting area is located in the lobby. After delivery and upon the mother’s permission, the nurse will invite all of the family members over the age of 12 into the delivery room for a short visit to meet their new family member.
Surgery and Recovery
Only one visitor is permitted to accompany the patient during surgery and recovery. Visitor switching is not allowed during surgery or recovery.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Parents with newborns admitted to this unit will receive a copy of the department’s visiting guidelines.
