Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance - Elizabeth Salazar, MBA

Elizabeth Salazar, MBA, or more fondly known as just Liz, serves as the Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance for Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC) in Lancaster, California. Liz has over a decade of administrative experience in hospital settings. She works with urgency, strong professionalism, sound judgment, and a high degree of accuracy to devise strategic solutions for project completion whilst remaining compliant with applicable regulations. After eight years in progressive administrative roles at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Ms. Salazar started at AVMC in 2015 and quickly proved to be an asset to the hospital. Now reporting to the CEO, she is a critical part of the administration running a tight ship over the human resources, compliance, patient experience, spiritual services, and volunteer departments. Ms. Salazar earned her undergraduate degree in Health Administration from California State University, Northridge. She also obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.
