Seminar Offers Tips “When the Pressure Mounts”

Stress is a part of everyday life in the U.S. A recent Gallup poll said 44 percent of American adults feel stress frequently during their day. A free lecture about this critical facet of everyday life will be held at 7 p.m. April 16 at the Community Resource Center, 44151 15th Street West in Lancaster. “When the Pressure Mounts,” presented by Roger Girion, PhD, executive director of mental health services at Antelope Valley Medical Center will explain:

  • The causes of stress.
  • How stress or stressors can harm us physically.
  • How to avoid your stressors.
  • Tips to alleviate stress levels.
