AVMC is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, an official STEMI (ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction) Receiving Center and an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, which means the facility has the equipment, infrastructure, staff, and training programs needed to quickly diagnose and treat patients presenting with acute stroke or heart attack.
