Stroke Resources

Stroke is the number one cause of long-term disability and the 5th leading cause of death in the United States, yet it continues to be one of the most misunderstood diseases.

Individuals who have experienced a stroke and their families, understandably often have questions. Through its Stroke Family Warmline, the American Stroke Association connects stroke survivors and their families to a compassionate and knowledgeable professional who can provide support and helpful information.
